Learn from Republicans

Learn how to attack a candidate from the Republicans. We democrats are pretty useless at that.

Hillary fans attacked Obama with lame stuff like "He isn't experienced", "He doesn't understand policy", "He is not ready to be CIC" etc.

Even more ridiculous is Larry Johnson's Whitey video tommorow(+1).

Take a look at how Repubs attack Obama
http://tncwatch.com/2008/05/obamas-not-e xactlys.html
I think a lot of points out there can't really be refuted.

Someone posted a troll diary on dKos with the full text cut-pasted & pretending to ask for advice on how to refute it.

The diary was deleted. But I am impressed. If Hillary supporters were smarter, Hillary would have been the nominee today. Hillary's baggage has been attacked for 15 years, so it wouldn't made much of an effect.

With the amount of baggage Obama is carrying - the 527's are going to skewer him. I bet McGovern will be forgotten pretty soon.

Re: Learn from Republicans (1.00 / 0)

I've been thinking about this specifically. We should we have our heads in the sand and only tell eachother wonderful stories about our candiadte

OR

should we be proactive in the debunking of the filth/ talking points that will be thrown at against him.

John Kerry choose the 1st path above... and I know what that resulted in. Problem is-- would mydd admins be okay w/ it and where do you draw the line.

Re: Learn from Republicans (none / 0)

I would be happy to read and comment on diaries that talked about the solutions to some of Obama's drawbacks.  This puts forth no solutions and is therefore not helpful.

we've known all along that hillary wasn't as good. (none / 0)

at oppo as barack has been in his career.  you may not have learned anything from republicans -- and let me say that hillary tried, she just failed to comprehend the lessons she needed to learn -- but barack certainly has.

i'm having a little problem with your claim, though.  if you had googled what you said, you would have come up with the reference to snopes, which debunked these claims.  now i can't say that you're a troll, but your google foo is unimpressive...

google is your friend... (none / 0)

and you obviously ignored relevant links, if you ever googled it or were truly interested.  the ones that remain are pretty lame.  i've either never heard barack say them OR what he said was true (illinois' premier political reporter has already established that voting present was a strategy suggested by those who didn't want to give republicans a wedge issue; terry link has admitted casting votes for barack that were "misvotes," etc.  if you think that these are hard charges for people to debunk, you need to get out more.  that you admire republicans for this crap says more about you than it does about their oppo abilities...
