Mission Accomplished

The latest Suffolk Univ Polls.

In Kentucky, Hillary Clinton (51 percent) led Barack Obama (25 percent) by 26 points, followed by John Edwards (6 percent) and "uncommitted" (5 percent), while 11 percent were undecided.

In Oregon, Obama (45 percent) led Clinton (41 percent) by 4 points, with 8 percent undecided and 6 percent refusing a response.

I think before Oregon & Kentucky counting begins on May 20th, Obama should give a Victory speech with a "Mission Accomplished" somewhere in the backgroun. The math says that there is no way for Hillary to become the Nominee.

Re: Mission Accomplished (none / 0)

I'd prefer a banner that reads, "This One's for the Reality-Based Community."

Re: Mission Accomplished (none / 0)

This one's for the people who'd rather actually do the math as opposed to just hoping and praying that somehow, some way, what's really real really isn't.

Re: Mission Accomplished (1.00 / 1)

I hope Obama does give a victory speech tomorrow. I'm actually looking forward to it. Please claim victory, please do. Oh, count the cliches -- egg on face, foot in mouth, etc.

Re: Mission Accomplished (none / 0)

He'll have a majority of pledged dels tomorrow. I'm sure he'll make a statement about that.

Re: Mission Accomplished (none / 0)

So you're arguing that Senator Clinton will be contesting the election for another four years?

Anybody's vote is worth having. But not everybody's vote is worth campaigning for.

I'm glad it was crossposted (none / 0)

All this diary lacks for spectacular snark (it's snark, right?) is a Mission Accomplished banner.
